About Us
Indio Black is a tight, professional four-piece covers band. Although from diverse backgrounds, the members all bring a vast experience and a shared passion for the music they play: an up-tempo, considered collection of popular contemporary rock, pop and indie.
This is clearly evident in the enthusiasm, spirit and crisp presentation of an Indio Black gig. By purposefully forming a modern set and ensuring their music reflects what people are currently buying and listening to, the band has established a firm (and ever-expanding) fan base and busy diary of significant gigs – as well as regular private work throughout the country, Indio Black have supported both Alphabeat and chart-toppers The Hoosiers to a crowd of over 2000, with plans afoot for further slots with big-name acts at the end of this year.
"We must have had over 300 cover bands in here over the years, and you guys are definitely at the top of the list."
"Really enjoyed your set the other night, categorically the best covers band i've ever seen!"
